9 Actresses Who Made It Big After Doing A Nude Scene

With all this #FreeTheNipple talk it's hard to imagine that nudity is allowed in films at all. But thank god, it is. Am I right? These actresses are pretty thankful for that fact too. In fact, their careers were all made possible because of being nude in a film. Oh, this world. Seriously, though, these nine actresses owe their "big" start and careers to baring it all on the silver screen. They say sex sells, and they are damn right it does. So check out these actresses and the movies that got them to where they are today, see if you recognize any - something tells me you will.

1. Angelina Jolie.

In 1993 Jolie played Casella 'Cash' Reese in the film Cyborg 2. The movie began Jolie's career, even if she did only get the part in thanks to her famous father Jon Voight. Still, Jolie can be seen in a sex scene topless, so no one's complaining.

2. Natasha Kinski.

It may not have been her first movie, but Boarding School (1978) was the film that definitely gave Kinski her start. After appearing topless in the film her career shot straight up - as I'm sure many, many other things did.

3. Charlize Theron.

Charlize Theron has been a pretty hot name in Hollywood over the last year or so, and she owes a lot of that to the film 2 Days in the Valley (1996). In the scene Theron is shown topless by the poolside. Moral of the story: water + nudity = a career.
